On September
15, 2000, in the city of Bakersfield, California, Brian and Ryan
McGee opened up M & M Productions which specialized in selling
wholesale goods at retail. Their objective was to create a business
that people from all walks of life could participate in regardless
of their background, race, creed or color. For years housewives,
single parents, rehabilitated ex-cons, college students who needed
more time for homework, teenagers, schools, churches, and community
organizations took advantage of this opportunity and earned
substantial income that aided in their support and endeavors. After
two years of business, our company began to expand its horizon by
entering the video production industry as well. We began to
specialize in filming commercials, music videos, movies, special
events, montages, birthday parties, weddings, quinceanera,
documentaries, and the list goes on and on. After experiencing
success in this area, the company reorganized the focus not only in
the aforementioned services but in creating a company that produces
entities of the gospel fine arts industry. Our mission statement is:
“To
create a faith-based organization that will be a doorway for people
to receive the salvation of Jesus Christ through the arena of fine
arts.”
For so long the entertainment industry, including gospel, has been
primarily based on who you know instead of one’s abilities, one’s
anointing and dedication to God. For a moment my attitude towards
the gospel industry was negative until “Sunday’s Best” was aired. I
applaud the one's who came up with this idea. This is an idea that
will not cultivate selfishness. Finally, a gospel show that would
give people a fair shot based on their ability and merit rather than
an acquaintance with a “hook up.” And through the leading of God,
our focus was changed to become a company that would produce certain
products that promote the value of a relationship with Christ and
allowed the people to benefit from these products both spiritually
and financially. Through this change, we now have an actor’s
clubhouse, compensation plans, prayer line, and many more things.
Just search our website and read about all the many wonderful
components that we offer.
We call ourselves “The People’s Company” because the staff of M and
M Productions have determined within their hearts to promote and not
forget those who help build and support this company through
referrals, purchases, or participation. These are the ones who will
receive the opportunity to exhibit their talents. We want to give to
the ‘good ole folks’ who love God and feel they have exceptional
skills the opportunity to take part in music videos, musical plays,
and movies. We have been blessed with good sponsors who have made
purchases and render their professional skills to help us produce
good product and help the community. We take portions of the
proceeds and donate them to charities. It’s all about promoting
salvation through the acceptance of Jesus Christ, helping people,
having fun, and serving God with our whole hearts in the liberty in
which Christ has made us free! We will not let the condition of the
economy steal our joy and faith in God. We must occupy till He
comes. Join us in changing the atmosphere! To God Be the glory!
Serving Christ,
Brian McGee
