Melvin Watkins was born December
24,1961 to the proud parents of Paul Watkins and Alma Killebrew. He
received Christ in his life at the early age of 8 years old. He has
been a resident of Bakersfield, CA. his entire life. He is presently
an employee of the Lamont School District in The Child Nutrition
Department. Melvin has been married for fourteen years to Sandra
Work. To this union three lovely children were born named Taylor,
Nicholas, and Maiah. Melvin also has an older daughter named
Nastashia.
Melvin started acting early in life. He is known as one of the most
talented actors in the city. He starred in two Musical Plays
entitled: “Saanah”, which he received a standing ovation for his
outstanding performance, and “Ten Plagues of Egypt from the Egyptian
Perspective”, in which he, along with the Actors’ Clubhouse,
received “The Mayor’s Proclamation Award”.
Deidra Coston-Bennett is a
native of Bakersfield CA. She has 3 handsome sons, Bobby, Kyle and
Kaleb, 1 grandson Kylen and has been married to husband Lee Bennett
for 14 years. She was blessed to be birthed and raised by two great
parents, Ralph Coston and Minnie Coston Gadson.
Deidra received Christ at the early age of 10 years old where she
was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. She has been an active
member at Cain Memorial A.M.E. church for the past 20 years.
Deidra has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. She
is currently employed by the State of California and has served as a
cosmetologist for 26 years in which she continues part time.
She performed in such plays as; “The Ten Plagues of Egypt”, “Sanaah”,
“The Wiz “and TBN’s Screenplay “Meggido”. She wrote and directed her
own version of a Christmas play entitled: “A Christmas Carol”.
Deidra is talented in all walks of life. Deidra’s favorite
scriptures are Matthew 7:20 "So then, you will know them by their
fruits”. Matthew 12:33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit
good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known

Rosemary
Watkins (Director of Choreography) is a native of
Bakersfield CA. She was born to the proud parents of Richard Watkins
and Paula Pollard. She has a handsome son, John, who is 7 years old.
Rosemary received Christ at an early age and reaffirmed our
relationship with Him at the age of 20. She is an active member of
Saints Memorial Church of God in Christ, located in Bakersfield, CA.
Rosemary has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.
She is currently employed at Robert Half International as a Staffing
Manager.
She performed in the musical play entitled: “The Ten Plagues of
Egypt”, and is now the director of choreography for M & M
Productions.
